VIRKILL is a technical fabric with copper particles, particularly suitable for use in clothing and accessories due to its great breathability.<\/p>\n

In fact, it is tested according to the UNI EN ISO 11092: 2014 standard for the determination of the breathability of a fabric through evaporative resistance<\/strong> (RET \u2013 Resistance to Evaporative Heat Transfer). Test results confirmed VIRKILL\u2019s high breathability.<\/p>\n

The material of which it is made, also makes it compatible with skin contact<\/strong>. This is demonstrated by the fact that VIRKILL has passed the patch test resulting \u201cDermatologically tested, suitable for subjects with sensitive skin\u201d.<\/p>\n

VIRKILL has a high resistance to both water and dry washing<\/strong>, thus contributing to the extension of the useful life of the garment with a view on sustainability.<\/p>\n

This product is treated with a biocide (copper) but has no primary biocide function and does not replace the ordinary prevention rules for bacterial or viral infections.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Furthermore, it is not a medical-surgical device.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In addition to its main distinguishing features, the addition of copper particles within the thread help to preserve the surface of the fabric from contamination by micro organisms, such as viruses and bacteria<\/strong>, as demonstrated by ISO 18184:2019 testing for determination of its antiviral activity against SARS-CoV-2 virus and UNI EN ISO 20743: 2013 testing for determination of its antibacterial activity. The fabric does not protect the person using it or other people from viruses or bacteria, but its properties serve to preserve the product itself.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The ancient Greeks were the first to discover the sanitizing power of copper thousands of years ago. Since then, copper has been used as a biocide by Celts, Hindus, American pioneers, and Japanese, as well as by inhabitants of Africa and Asia, for treating sores and skin diseases.<\/p>\n
